Wolven
What Wolven Believes In
The Design Process
Sustainability
Wolven garments are made with OEKO-TEX certified Recycled P.E.T fabric (RPET), a fabric made from recycled plastic water bottles. The OEKO-TEX certification ensures that the material is free of harmful and toxic chemicals. Over 6.4 million tonnes of plastic trash enters the world’s oceans each year. RPET creates a second life for plastics, helping to keep plastic out of our planet’s delicate ecosystems.
One Wolven legging creates new value for 27 old water bottles. Every purchase of a Wolven legging can prevent 27 water bottles from ever entering our oceans. You’re wearing the proof, and we have that verified by OEKO TEX and GRS.
Certified Production
We care about the conditions in which our clothing is made and demand that our partners abide by strict codes of conduct for health and safety, wages, working hours, child labor, and more. In addition to our own due-diligence, our suppliers are all independently certified.
The STANDARD 100 label from OEKO-TEX certifies that every component of our garments has been tested for harmful substances, and that the garments are completely harmless to human health.
Intertek’s Workplace Conditions Assessment (WCA) program provides transparency in the supply chain, ensuring responsible social and labor conditions, health and safety standards, environment, and business practices.
The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) sets requirements that ensure accurate claims for recycled materials and responsible social, environmental, and chemical practices throughout production.
